Welcome to the Charleston County Contributions Program application page!

This is an open application process for non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations to receive funds from Charleston County Government.

The deadline for all County Contribution Programs was July 31, 2024, however the County has re-opened the State Accommodations Tax Application period only. See below in red.

The various funding streams are:

Community Investment

Provision of Community Based Programs

Local Accommodations Tax

Advertising & Promotions for County Tourism Generation

State Accommodations Tax

Renovate /Maintain/Operate a County Tourist-Related Facility

Please have the following documents prior to starting your application:

Federal Employer Identification Number
IRS Determination Letter
IRS Form 990 (Required for Revenue above $50K)
SC Secretary of State Public Charities Division Annual Financial Report (Only if you file a Form 990-N Postcard, 990-EZ, 990-PF or are not required to file Form 990). Please note that this is a County requirement; you should review State Filing requirements with your tax professional.
Audit (for Revenues over $1M+)
